I love Winter. I complain about the cold, but I love it. I love Winter fashion. I love being able to wear my boots every day. And my scarves. I love baking fresh bread and making pumpkin soup on cold, cold days. I love sitting on the sofa all warm & cosy under a quilt and watching a movie. And I even love the cool fresh air that hits your face when you open the front door in the morning.

I love winter because I get to wear slippers all the time, I love to snuggle so deep in the doona that you wouldn't know I was there, I love to be wrapped up in my big warm dressing gown, I love the morning fog when all you can see outside is white, I love porridge with honey, I love big winter jackets with cool button brooches!!!
Those buttons look fantastic all sprawled out there! I love winter too! I love the fashion mostly, & all those yummy winter dishes, the smell of open fires, rugging up, early nights, red wine!...my friends don't understand my love of winter..but then I don't understand their dislike...all that's missing down here on the coast is the snow!
ohh, thanks for the awesome give-away. Winter, hmmmm, well this morning I went for a garden walk and don't you just love the colours against a grey sky, so much more vibrant me thinks. Then there is wrapping your fingers around a cuppa and feeling the steam against your face. Scarves, scarves and all the colours of the rainbow, scarves. Layers of clothing, knitted vests, my knitting/crochet corner in the loungeroom that looks onto my garden. Jigsaw puzzles and dominoes with my kids. Sleeping in on a Sunday morning and pancakes for breakkie. My pumpkin soup and damper. Junior soccer season early morning crunchy grass. Just think, we have about 3 more months of this beautiful season. Wintery goodness to you.

I love winter ... I love wearing boots, I love running through the rain under an umbrella, I love sitting in front of an open fire reading a book, I love the snow, I love puddles, I love my face glowing red after walking outdoors and I love all the comfort food that comes with winter. I think I'll stop there ... you get the gist of it!

I also love to be able to wear my all of my boots- not all at once although I did turn up to work one day after walking to work so see I had packed a left and a right of 2 different boots that was a fun day!!! Lucky they were fairly similar color and heel size- ha-ha
I love quilts on the couch- hot chocolates, and adore hot soup of every kind- well almost im sure!!!

I love when your fingers get all tingly as they warm up after being cold, I love the clear crisp sky just after sunset and the way the Mountain burns red in the wintery morning light, I love the weightiness of all the extra blankets at nighttime and also I love hellebores, I could go on and on and on ... oh, and I shouldn't forget stodgy wintery food, yummo!
I love drinking lots of tea. And hot chocolate. And wearing scarves and hats and arm warmers. All at the same time. I love Winter walks outside when the sky is clear and the air is crisp. I love being indoors and hearing the rain falling on the roof. Cozy nights in with friends. I do not like first thing in the morning when you are waiting for the shower to heat up - brrrr!!!
I love the beginning of winter all those beautiful golden trees and the smell of wood fires
i love making and drinking glogi (finnish spiced mead)and seeing all the spider webs with water drops on them amongst bare trees

What everyone else said! If I had to pick one then a doona on the couch by the fire with a good book has got to be the best thing ever about winter; that and of course, that I get to wear my scarves every day!!!
Winter is great - you should see my Christmas Tree's all covered in a -3oC frost yesterday - priddy.
Then the spiders webs defrost and are covered in jewels.
Crunching the puddles, cracking the ice on the chookds water bowl.
I love snuggling up indoors and doing crafty things or being a domestic goddess. 5-minute cake in a cup (done in the microwave) is the perfect rainy afternoon pick-me-up.
I love winter because i can snuggle with my hubby in front of a roaring fire, i love warm soups and melt in your mouth casseroles, crusty fresh bread and warm hot chocs. I love that i can wear funky hats, scarves and cosy boots, long jackets and crazy toe socks!..... BUT i still am counting the days down till spring!

Baking and ugg boots! I have just purchased my first pair of ugg boots and don't know how I lived without them for so long!
I love winter. Whilst I'm known for getting cold quick, I do love to curl up somewhere warm with a hot cup of tea and something yummy. Plus there is just something lovely about the heavy doona around you as you go to sleep at night. Thanks for such a generous giveaway!
I love winter too; well I adore all the seasons it is lovely living in a city where I can experience all of them. Just winding down to winter now the last remaining of days of autumn to go.
I am also looking forward to days of winter tights, gorgeous boots and wrapping myself up all snug in coats and scarves. If only I had some beautiful winter button goodness... lol.

i love the all the layers - and layering the kids up to go out and play! i love that they love the pouddles too....
also love a nice night on the couch with hot choc, then a nice lay in in the morning, all in the bed!
