My Creative Space...sewing

Do you remember the purple flower tunic I made a few months ago? Well, on Monday I managed to spill black ink on it. Right on the front. Ruined! So, last night I was determined to use my dressmaking class to make another. I managed to complete the tunic in the class and today I am gong to wear it...despite the snow on the mountain and perhaps with a skivvy (or two) underneath!

The pattern is Kwik Sew #3598 and the fabric (surprise, surprise) came from Spotlight. It's a quilting weight cotton.

I love this! I can't believe your other one is ruined, it's a good thing you're so clever, another one, voila! just like that!

The purple flower tunic was gorgeous....what a shame!

P.S. I do think your new tunic is equally as gorgeous.

Such a pity about the purple one, but this one is gorgeous too. Thanks for inspiring me to get out my patterns - planning sewing for the weekend!
