Embroidery attempt #3. As you can see I'm still obsessed with red on linen. I've had this fabric lying around for some time. I was going to make a cushion from it. I'm glad that I didn't. I really like how this one turned out. Again, I did it free-hand. It was difficult to get the 'o's just right (there was plenty of unpicking) and the 'n' is a little crooked. Next time I think I'll bite the bullet and draw the letters on first.

Rosie, you are such a natural at this. I love this too and yes, very glad that cushion did not get made.
Lovely.....It definitely looks neat from my angle. The 'o' and 'n' look perfect. I recently went to an embroidery class and we used these amazing pencils - I think they were called embroidery transfer pencils - we traced the image with the pencil onto tracing paper and then ironed it onto the fabric. Easy. x
I have one of those pencils (somewhere).
