Sneak Peek

I collected the new colours for the Wanderlust Collection last Friday. I'm really loving these colours. The blue and orange are the perfect shade of vintage. I will be launching the full collection next week at Magnolia Square.

Twins?

sfgirlbybay runs an awesome Separated At Birth column. I love this idea- matching celebrities with interiors. Here are some of the matches I particularly love.

Pegged

I love maps. atlases are among my favourite books. I can spend hours looking at maps. I'm a visual/spatial person and I love working out geographical relationships (and finding weird town names).  On the other hand, pegs and I are not that well acquainted. I don't have a clothes line. To me pegs equal work...I always hated hanging out wet washing. But these pegs I can live with. I will have these beauties for sale at Magnolia Square at the end of the month.

It's wet out side. It's been raining for 4 days. Non-stop. On the up side I have been very productive this week. I've almost finished a quilt for my brother's upcoming birthday (and one for his cat) and I have been making lots of little treats to take to Magnolia Square. I have decided to indulge my scrapbooking/paper craft side and make some travel (Wanderlust) related items to decorate my stall and to sell. Today I'm going to make some sausage/vegetable rolls and do a bit more quilting and creating.

What is your favourite thing to do on wet days?

And now for some completely unrelated eye candy.

Mustard Pot

I'm not usually a huge fan of yellows. I don't know what it is about mustard, but I love it! And I'm not the only one with a thing for yellows at the moment. sfgirlbybay and Sophie of Her Library Adventures are apparently also fans.

Say Cheese!

I love the idea of these little paper cameras...so sweet and so perfect for the upcoming Magnolia Square market. My Apron Design Market display simply won't fit into a suitcase (no mater how hare I try), so I need to start thinking about smaller, lighter options for display.

After I posted this image yesterday I decided to try and track down the source of this photo and to my great delight discovered that the pdf pattern for these camera can be purchased on Etsy. I bought it. They are easy to make, if a little fiddly...but totally worth it. I also used the pattern to make my own out of map paper.

I'm gong to make more today. What better way to spend a rainy day?
