Not a Scandinavian House

Did you see the Sydney house featured on The Design Files yesterday? No? Well, if, like me, you are a fan of mid-century design you have to check it out.

Slow Wood

Slow Wood is a company that specialises in hand craft, ecologically friendly furniture. You should check out their website- so many lovely pieces. It makes me wish my little house was bigger so I could fill with some of these gorgeous pieces. But, alas, I'm afraid I'll just have to keep dreaming (or knock through into next doors house- I wonder would they notice?)

Fancy Lamb

Fancy Lamb. What a great name for an Etsy store. On top of that Fancy Lamb sells so many things that I fancy. Here are just some of my favourites.

Feeling Treasured

Yep, that's my little button pendant there in the middle. How sweet does it loo in this sea of blue?

On the home front

Finally, some European houses that I can afford! These gorgeous little homes can be found over in Artisanie Europe's Etsy shop.

i wish i had a little shop

Today I want to take a moment for a little shameless self promotion. I have reopened my Etsy shop- i wish i had a little shop. I'll be stocking a mix of handmade, vintage and vintage inspired products. I have been sorting through my vintage button collection and bundled up some sweet little colour coordinated collections. I've made a few button pendants and brooches too.  I also have some yummy Winter pom pom garlands to pop in the shop over the weekend.

Thank you for your attention. You may now return to our usual weekend activities.

American style

American Leah Duncan describes herself as an artist, designer and maker. She certainly has an eye for colour and pattern. I love the retro feel of her work. I certainly wouldn't mind having some of her work in my house.
