I don't make New Year's resolutions as such, but I do try to take stock every now again and make changes to my life or the way I'm living as needed. Last month I decided that 2012 would be about simplifying life...less mental and physical clutter. So yesterday I dropped off some things to the Salvos and today I did a trip to the tip shop with what the Salvos wouldn't accept (mainly one very heavy, very old TV set). And I knew it would happen...I left both the Salvos and the tip shop with stuff...more clutter! At least the exchange ratio wasn't too bad- 3 garbage bags of clothes exchanged for 1 cardigan, 1 t-shirt and 1 jacket and an old TV for these cute vintage salt & pepper shakers and table cloth. At least they'll take up less room than the TV!
